AT TECH: Tech's starting punter for two seasons after earning the job in the preseason of 2004 . . . Transfer who enrolled at Tech in the fall of 2003, and then joined the football program as a walk-on for spring practice in 2004 . . . Earned a scholarship for his senior season.

Career average of 39.0 yards per punt with a career net of 35.9. . . Ranks sixth in Tech history with 160 career punts and 6,246 career yards . . . Career average is eighth best in Tech history . . . Had just eight touchbacks on 160 career punts.

Best game was Virginia Tech, when he punted six times for a 45.8-yard average, including three punts inside the 20 and three kicks of at least 50 yards . . . Punted 10 times for a 42.0-yard average in Tech's win at Clemson . . . Longest kick of the season was a 64-yard boot against Miami . . . Season total of 73 punts ranks fourth on Tech's season list, while 2,813 yards ranks fifth.

AT TUSCULUM: Transferred to Tech from Tusculum, an NCAA Division II school in Greenville, Tenn., where he spent two years . . . In 2002, punted nine times for a 39.7-yard average with a long of 42 yards.
